Understanding the structure of organizations is analogous to comprehending a family system. What is the social surround? Does it sustain life? Can creative individuals, medical professionals, lawyers, tech people, entrepreneurs, etc., thrive in its environment? What is the relationship between an individual’s stress, anxiety, inability to create, thoughts of suicide, feelings of being trapped and working in an organization and culture that is actually malignant and dehumanizing and ultimately unsustainable. Connecting the interaction between self and environment can be illuminating and empowering.
